My Review and Thoughts:

"Welcome to the mirror image of countless human tragedies."

I was invited and given the opportunity to review this film and with the title like Necrophile Passion you should pretty much know what you're getting into before you go into it. This is a sadistic, brutal, disturbing, shocking and visceral piece of disturbing horror that will utterly blow your mind or at least leave a lasting impression; and if it doesn't, then something might be wrong with you.

This is a film written and directed by Tom Heidenberg. He created a piece of sadistic brutal and disgusting horror that will make your eyes bleed and your bowels flow.

The music score is absolutely brilliant. Rene Bidmon aces this and creates an old school style of twisted sounds and music that brings out the film in all its twisted glory. The music reminds me of the beautiful Italian style horror or Grindhouse classic tunes of the 70's and 80's. The mix of the perfect Goblin with Riz Ortolani. The music is a perfect reality to the film and is an adventure in itself.

The movie is separated into chapters. Chapter 1 is called Necrologue. A man is walking in a wooded area. He comes upon a naked dead woman. He is shocked and starts to dial the police but then he hesitates. His id - super ego and ego - starts to betray his rational thought and sees an opportunity of pleasure through another's misfortune. He takes the body home. And yes the horror sexually begins.

Chapter 2: Pain
You start to see the man’s pain and ultimate destructive childhood at the abuse of his mother and his ultimate rejection from a woman. His mind has been created with mental pain and his ultimate misunderstandings of right and wrong or at least what is rational and non-rational.

Chapter 3: Isolation
Your main character starts to grow in pain of being lost inside his own little world. An imprisonment of his nightmares and dreams.

Chapter 4: Love
You witness his love and his ultimate desire that slowly builds inside him.

Chapter 5: Hate
He thinks back on how his relationship failed.

This movie goes up there with the twisted, beautiful likes of Nekromantik (1988). This bleeds and eviscerates the mind into an ultimate orgy of brutal actions of sex with the dead and the ultimate twisted pain of self-destruction and the horrors of inner pain.

This is truly a film that makes you feel dirty, makes you want to take a bath and it gives you brutal images and actions that you won't get rid of. It’s a twisted little sadistic piece of beautiful and brutal mayhem for the hardcore lover of sadistic twisted sexual horror.

A film geared to the darkened part of horror. A film that creates a sadistic growing putrid of darkened evil horror, that never lets up from one image of depravity to the next image of depravity.

A cult film to be remembered in the style of Jorg Buttgereit, but also very original. Where Nekromantik did sex with the dead, Necrophile Passion gives you back-story of the characters and the characters ultimate persona. The movie displays and builds the story and gives more of a drama to the actions of the person.

I warn you this is not for everyone this is for fans of the sadistic type of horror. This is for fans of underground cinema features. This is on the nature of pushing the limit and crossing over boundaries of what most people would consider not to do or ever dream of doing.

If you know me I support under-ground. I support low-budget film. l support independent film. I love when a director takes whatever vision he has and creates shocking images that grab the viewer and send the viewer into a whirlwind of emotions and disturbing reality and that's what this film does.

I love when the director basically says, screw you, I am making what I'm making, if you like it, you like it, and if you don't, screw you. I love directors that basically are anarchist and go against the norm and what you're suppose to do in film with all the clichés and unoriginal realities that sadly cinema is this day and age, but as long as there are films like Necrophile Passion, there is originality.
