Plot: Product Description: No sooner has she been warned by
her boss that her personal involvement in the stories she’s shooting will not
end happily, Friday witnesses the attempted assassination of a prominent
African-American figure and the murder of a friend. Why is Friday the target on
the hit list? What does she know? Teaming with private detective Colt Hawkins,
to search for answers will lead them to a startling and action-packed finale.
My Review and Thoughts:
The 4th Olive Films Blu-ray coming out of the Blaxploitation
reality. The third mastery of African Goddess of cult cinema, the one and only
Pam, sexy, brown sugar beauty, Pam Grier. If ever I had one of the biggest
crushes, and downright fancy, a cool ass chick, it would be Pam Grier. Beautiful,
smart, sexy and an attitude like no other. Her characters from Coffy, Foxy
Brown and Friday Foster are some of the greatest characters to ever grace
Drive-In cinema, or cinema period. Like Coffy and Foxy Brown, Olive Film’s
lovingly mastered this film on a beautiful Blu-ray. A great transfer worthy to
be talked about.
Awesome vibrant colors and a beautiful ear candy sound of
perfection. I am so happy that Olive Films choose these for Blu-ray, you can

is beauty, and this Blu-ray is beauty, and Friday Foster is a movie of perfect
popcorn entertainment. Another priceless Blaxploitation to own.
This was my first time seeing this away from a VHS copy, so I was super excited to see the beauty and transfer onto Blu-ray.
This was Pam’s last picture with American International
Pictures. Now what I think is very interesting is this story and character was
an adaption of a comic strip that ran from 1970 to 1974. The comic strip was
scripted by Jim Lawrence and drawn by Jorge Longaron, and Gary Morrow. So I
guess technically you could call this a comic book movie.
Also starring the wonderful one of a kind Yaphet Kotto.
Always a powerful actor. From the sci-fi classic Alien, to James Bond’s Live and
Let Die. A constant performer of excellence. I grew up watching him as, Lt. Al
Giardello on one of the greatest TV series of all time, Homicide: Life on the
Street. Also starring the very beautiful, sexy, amazing Eartha Kitt. She is a
true beauty that never falters in her roles. Also starring the kick ass Scatman
Crothers. I will always remember him as Dick Hallorann in the masterpiece of
cinema, 1980’s The Shining. He always made you remember his parts, that’s the
beauty of his persona in cinema.
Friday Foster was Directed by Arthur Marks. He directed several Blaxploitation
films of the 70’s including Detroit 9000, BuckTown, J.D.’s Revenge, and The
Monkey Hustle. He always was a producer throughout his career. He produced and
directed many of the classic episodes for the TV series, Perry Mason. He also
directed a few ultra-cool violent Drive-In style films, 1973’s Bonnie’s Kids, and 1973’s The Roommates. He wrote Bonnie’s Kids and wrote the screenplay for
The Roommates. I highly recommended both films. Something I want to throw out
there is he also worked on the set of the classic musical masterpiece, The
Wizard of Oz, I just find that really cool.
Friday Foster is a true 70’s film all the way. Olive Films
has given a wonderful outlet of Blu-ray perfection. Beautiful transfer, and
always a fantastic treat to experience a classic Blaxploitation on a high
quality Blu-ray.

This is a must own Blu-ray. A true Classic 70's film. Pam is a goddess as always.
Blaxploitation films are some of the greatest to experience. This is a beautiful
Blu-ray with wonderful sound, and picture transfer.
Loved this experience. Olive
Films is magical in the department of bringing certain films on new outlets to experience. This is a wonderful retro beauty. Pure 70’s. Pure popcorn entertainment. Simply put a
wonderful Blu-ray, and an equally wonderful, good time.
