My Review and Thoughts:

This is a film that I highly recommend. This is a film that I feel does everything a movie needs to do. This is a story of a man that fought for his country, that was wounded and now is home struggling. It's a film of cinematography. A beautiful atmosphere of a twisted nature.

I think what makes this movie standout is it's sad that we as a country abandon our soldiers that fought for this country, that gave, that come back home, and end up having to struggle. From finding a job and trying to obtain money enough to survive. Bryan Kaplan plays this type of part to a golden award worthy ticket. He expresses the inner rage slowly boiling. He slowly grows into anger, frustration and bitter thoughts and actions. He is truly a gifted actor that expresses emotions that are believable and haunting and tragically beautiful in his performance as Justin.

Written and directed by Geoff Ryan.  Ryan directed a thought-provoking film that truly does the job. He wrote a brilliant storyline and crafted it around great performances. This is a relatable film, a reality-based film. A down-to-earth film where the watcher can relate and seem like they're going through the same thing at times or understands what Justin, your main character is going through.

Jarin Blaschke does an extraordinary and unbelievable job at cinematography. Absolutely beautiful, dark and gives it a artistic beauty yet also a backwoods loner and personal feel. The shots go along with the story and the character. The cinematography plays out like the inner demons that Justin is going through.

Justin is an ex-soldier, wounded. The government has not given him his disability for being wounded and he struggles with surviving day to day through living. He works at what work he can find. His wounded leg is in pain. He suffers flash backs of war. He has a true inner anger.

Spork Productions has a true gem and really a wonderful and brilliantly created film of a story that is so true and the viewer can understand and become apart of It.

Marisa Costa plays Cheri a small town teacher that falls for Justin. She gives a wonderful performance as a teacher with strong beliefs. She plays her part fantastic and makes the viewer feel her persona.

What is so effective is you witness the average normal everyday life situations and yet you know the drama is deep inside Justin. A thick drama of tension and boiling anger and a traumatic reality of drama.

This stands out above and beyond anything of what a big budget Hollywood film could do. This express' the reality of what certain individuals go through and of what a lot of our soldiers return to.

The unrelenting post dramatic stress, the anger and frustration and reality that certain soldiers go through with all the traumatic experiences is a painful understanding. They come home to re-live the pain and horror they experienced all over again. They live through nightmares, and the inner thoughts of pain and the reality of what they went through and saw during war. They come home to experience the struggle and pain all over again.

I have a strong belief that if a soldier fights for the country, they should not have to come home to having no job or a means to live. Our country should support and make sure our troops are taken care of, but sadly and far to often our troops are abandoned by the very country they fought for.

This is a shining film. A brilliant film. This film is truly a touching drama and is something that should be seen. It's an amazing experience when a movie buff comes up on a film that expresses the horrors and inner demons that certain individuals go through; it seems, like it's real. The film even though its from a fictional point of view, it's a true concept that happens everyday. This is a movie, even if you have never experienced war, you can become apart of Justin, and see through his eyes his personal pain. This film offers the viewer an experience that touches the soul and mind and leaves a lasting dramatic experience.

Truly a brilliant wonderful dramatic film. One that expresses what a true drama film should detail. This is an amazing film through brilliant acting, amazingly directed and stunningly filmed with cinematography and the passionate reality of understanding.

A must see film. I highly recommend it. I praise it. It is an extraordinary, dramatic experience.
