Plot: I'm a Porn Star follows the lives of guys in the
neighborhood who are likely a lot more famous than you – at least on the
Internet. There are an estimated 370 million pornographic websites online. Porn
is now a thirteen billion dollar business. So who’s doing all this
moonlighting? Turns out — probably some people you know.
My Review and Thoughts:

This is truly a wonderful documentary on the aspects of
being a porn star as your main work. I enjoyed this film. Truly an entertaining
film. Entertaining in showcasing these young hot men that choose to be gay porn
stars for a living. This does showcase the reality of the ins and outs of the
business and how this industry is a huge money making reality.
This is actually a very sophisticated documentary in
showcasing this art-form and reality of entertainment that so many enjoy. Most
people won’t admit to being porn lovers or porn addicts. Some people enjoy
looking and experiencing satisfaction in the art form of sex. One other thing
that I really like about this film and its brilliance is the behind-the-scenes
reality of this industry. It is very graphic, very sexual and very heat
inducing. I highly recommend this documentary for any lover of Gay porn or any
lover that enjoys knowing about the industry of sex.
This was made by Canteen Studios and brought out by TLA
Releasing. It was directed by the very sexually stunning and amazing eye-candy,
actor, producer, writer and director Charlie David. A very wonderful director
and visionary in creating entertainment. He has written and acted in some
amazing films. He starred in the wonderful Gothic gay soap opera Dante's Cove.
He wrote and starred in the wonderful 2008's Mulligans. Starring in the sci-fi
Drama 2011's Judas Kiss. He does an amazing job in writing, producing and
directing I'm a Porn Star. He created a very wonderful trip into the history of
the industry and also captured a very entertaining and fun journey of a sexual
reality.
I really enjoyed the focus of this documentary digging deep (no pun intended or maybe it is) and showcasing the experiences of four main porn stars Brent
Everett, Colby Jansen, Rocco Reed and Johnny Rapid.
I think this is a documentary that deserves to be seen in
that you get to see the history of gay pornography. You get to see the first
starts and the historical reality by showcasing silent films that where some of
the first homoerotic. You get to see it all from the 1950's, the male physique
magazines. The boom of the 70's and 1980's industry. The horrible AIDS crisis
and so much more. I loved the history trip and the history lesson on this
industry. I enjoyed being entertained throughout this eye opening and bonerific history lesson. Now I
know so much that I did not know and I absolutely love it for that reality.
To see the personal reality of these individuals and how
they are candidly talking about their performances and being a part of the gay
porn world is very in depth and fascinating. They talk about their fans, about
the reality of what they want to do or are doing during working in the
industry. From paying tuition, to wanting to open a gym, from married life and yes being straight and just working for gay pay.
A great trip. I highly recommend this wonderful sexy documentary.
