My Review and Thoughts:
This is a stunning and memorable British biographical
romantic drama that touches the heart, the soul and the mind. This is based on
the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking.
This is a spectacular movie of history, education and the
ultimate exploration and understanding of the life of one of the greatest minds
of all time. You get to go along with Hawking's life and love and passion and
ultimate struggle. I have always been fascinated with Stephen Hawking. I have
read all his books and I am in utter amazement at the man and of his genius.
It's wonderful seeing a personal side, the emotional reality. The tense
struggle. The visionary filmed form.
This is lovingly put together. One of the best examples of a
film about not only the person in biographical plot, but it’s about the loved
ones involved. A stunning portrait of this great man. This is possibly one of
the best acting performances I have seen in a very long time. A movie of
perfection put together in that you the watcher can see the love, passion and
fascination put into this film about this genius. Most of all it’s about the
emotional reality of the struggle and the depth of this challenging disease and
the hardships loved ones and the one going through it has to bare.
The movie showcases the beautiful and rough parts of
Hawking's life to a crystal clarity. The man that brings this part to life is a
young man that I have absolutely fallen in love with throughout his acting
career. This part as Hawking's, gives you the viewer what the art form and
mastery of acting is, Eddie Redmayne aces this part and deserves all the
accolades for this performance. The next Golden Ticket of acting perfection
goes to the beautiful Felicity Jones who plays Jane, Stephen's wife and
companion. Jones is so emotionally great in this part. She and Redmayne are
gifted. Loved both of them.
A flawless example of how to create a wonderful film. I have
already watched it twice. I really loved the experience. To anyone and everyone
that wants to explore or experience a thought provoking example of brilliant
acting and explore the exploration of this amazing man and story then look no
further than The Theory of Everything.
A passionate and beautiful and sad at times amazing film. I
shed tears at times. Jane Wilde Hawking's was a wonderful and strong woman for
Stephen. She stood by him for many, many years and treated him with beauty.
Felicity Jones captures her perfectly. The whole movie expresses itself with a
passionate heart.
Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones shine together. Perfect
chemistry. A very emotional experience that showcases itself into a masterpiece
of acting reality. Great direction by James Marsh. He captures the love, the
struggle and the wonderment of the story into a filmed form.
If I had to choose a flaw to this amazing movie it would be
the co-stars not being able to showcase there amazing talent. This movie is
filled with phenomenal actors such as the extraordinary David Thewlis who acted
in one of my favorite films of all time Mike Leigh’s Naked. The beautiful and
amazing Emily Watson. The wonderful amazing Harry Lloyd. The brilliant Simon
McBurney. The perfect Adam Godley. Just an amazing cast of co-stars. The
craftsmanship of each of these stars shined just having their names in the
small parts that they showcased. The movie held its power with an amazing cast
of stars and co-stars in their small parts. The whole movie, creates an acting art
form.
